Dan Lai, a native New Yorker, discovered his passion for dance as a teenager. Training with top industry choreographers, he explored a range of styles, including contemporary, jazz, street jazz, and hip hop, eventually fusing these influences into his own unique movement. Dan has showcased his choreography in prominent shows such as Carnival, Jared Grimes' Run the Night at the Highline Ballroom, and APEX at the Salvatore Capezio Theater.

 

He has also taught internationally, sharing his expertise in cities across Europe and Asia, including London, Tokyo, Stockholm, and Vienna. Additionally, he was featured in Dance Teacher Magazine. Currently, Dan teaches heels choreography at Peridance, Broadway Dance Center, and Brickhouse in New York City.
